The Lincoln County Highway Committee met last Thursday, June 6^th. Points of discussion during the meeting included nominations for Vice-Chairman & Secretary, proposals for new equipment purchases, facilities repairs, staffing, and road construction updates.

One new Highway worker was hired on Wednesday June 5^th, contingent upon completion of on-boarding processes, leaving 4 vacancies. All four summer help staffers have begun working.

The Committee reported that the CTH X Bridge Project is running on schedule. Jason Lemmer explained the actual process of repairing a bridge from inspection to finished product. He provided an update on the repairs for the Tomahawk Shop, including roof work. The Merrill shop roof will also need to be repaired in the near future. The paving project at CTH A & Tug Lake Rd is scheduled to be finished today, Thursday June 13^th.
